Presenting a newspaper daily on one of the biggest television channels in France pays off. The 74-year-old journalist has always firmly denied the facts with which he is accused, pointing the finger “a slanderous denunciation inspired by a quest for unseemly notoriety.” He added: “This behavior, where there were sometimes little kisses on the neck, little compliments, charm or seduction, is no longer accepted by the younger generations.“Patrick Poivre d’Arvor filed a complaint in April for”slanderous denunciation.“The case is far from over.
Patrick Poivre d’Arvor remains presumed innocent of the charges until the final judgment of this case.
