For 500 euros, on average for an inflatable spa – and from 300 euros for the most basic models -, you can have some of the benefits of classic spas while occupying a minimum of space. Of course, they just produce relaxing bubbles, not massages, but it can be very pleasant. However, like any product “in the manner of”it has advantages and disadvantages.
As for the advantages, the inflatable spa unfolds and sets up in less than an hour. And after use, it can be stored quite easily. It can thus be placed on a terrace or lawn if the surface is clean and stable. Moreover, it is simple to use. We have a control panel for the start-up with the water heating phase, the triggering of the jet and bubble cycles. The device is connected to a basic electrical outlet and it is filled with a garden hose connected to a water supply. It takes about 24 hours to obtain water at 35°C.
Hygiene and consumption
The downsides, now. Already, when buying your product, you have to look at the number of decibels that you will have to support. Some at the time of filtration can reach 70 to 90 decibels. It’s like bathing next to your washing machine at the worst possible time! Then, we will consume electricity for heating the water, the cycles of the jets and bubbles, the filtration. The cost per use is approximately one euro per day in July and August, and two euros in the fall and spring? because we will have to heat the water more.
Finally, who says bath with several in a reduced surface, says irreproachable hygiene to keep. This means dissolving lozenges two to three times a week to prevent the proliferation of bacteria. And just as often check the acidity of the water (Ph) or its hardness (Th): for this, you will need to buy a manual or electronic tester. There are also filter cartridges to be cleaned after each use and to be changed regularly. Note that at each oil change, everything must be scrubbed with a brush. To keep the water clean as long as possible, consider showering before soaking and asking your guests to do the same.
