The Washerwomen back
After two years without performances, the Joyeuses Lavandières troupe returns more motivated than ever.
Les Lavandières de Scherwiller is a spectacle in the streets of the Bas-Rhinoise commune. The idea? Revive the traditions of our grandparents and the stories of yesteryear.
Pierrette Lacombe tells us about the progress of the show which aims to tell us a piece of history with humor on the history of the village of Scherwiller and its river.
All this accompanied with sketches and songs in the streets of Scherwiller.
Rue de l’Ecole and its washhouses become theater stages where scenes of rural life in the village are played, in French and Alsatian.
