Provins in Seine-et-Marne. City classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, more than 11,800 Provinois live there. Among the heritage of the city: the Rose of Provins. Object of legend and history, the Rose of Provins is, for some, brought by the Duke of Champagne, Thibaut IV in 1240 on his return from a crusade. For the others, it’s a completely different story: the rose was already there long before!
