Pierre-Luc Dubois accepted the qualifying offer from the Winnipeg Jets on Friday afternoon. The Quebec striker will therefore receive a salary of 6 million for the 2022-2023 season, reports Darren Dreger of TSN.

Dubois had already turned his back on salary arbitration, a remedy to which he would have been entitled as a restricted free agent.
It’s obviously an easier contract to trade for the 24-year-old forward, who has never said no to the possibility of leaving the Jets. His agent Pat Brisson had also publicly stated that his client would be interested in wearing the uniform of the Montreal Canadiens if the opportunity arose.
Dubois had 28 goals and 60 points in 81 games last season.
