A 25-year-old man was shot and injured in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville on Thursday evening.

The event involving a firearm occurred around 11:20 p.m. The victim was located by the police in his car on Place de la Colombière, near Olivier-Maurault Avenue, not far from Ahuntsic College.
“We are talking about a man who is not known to police circles. He was transported to a hospital, but there is no fear for his life, ”said agent Jean-Pierre Brabant.
According to the testimonies collected, an unidentified man approached the driver on foot. He then allegedly shot him twice.
Casings were found on the ground.
Investigators went to the scene to analyze the scene, which was lifted early Friday morning.
