Passports that Canadian travelers don’t get on time; such delays in issuing visas that world-renowned speakers cannot attend conventions or seasonal workers cannot come to save the harvest; more than a year to issue a work permit, which jeopardizes the development of Canadian businesses that depend on highly qualified foreign workers; undocumented workers forced to accept questionable living conditions while waiting for their immigration status to be regularized… or simply for an answer!
Faced with the unreasonable delays caused by the slowness of the Canadian government to provide official papers, could we not set a limit beyond which the papers requested would be automatically issued?
