Deputies and senators agreed this Thursday on the same version of the text of the health bill, learned franceinfo.

Gathered in a joint committee, the seven deputies and the seven senators adopted a text very close to the version adopted Wednesday evening by the Senate, with one detail.

In its new version, the adopted text restores the possibility of requiring a negative PCR test for travelers over the age of 12 at the external borders, as well as for travel between Overseas France and France. This measure can be activated in the event of a worrying variant.

The text also opens the way to the reintegration of suspended unvaccinated personnel. The opinion of the health authorities will force the government to move in this direction, “as soon as the health situation no longer justifies this obligation“.

The Senate had adopted on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, in first reading, the health bill, after having restored a possibility of recourse to a health control of travelers, which had been removed by the National Assembly.

The text must still be voted on one last time by the two chambers.
