A cargo plane Antonov from Serbia crashed on Saturday evening July 16, near the town of Paleochori Kavalas, in northern Greece, firefighters said the same day. All eight crew members perished in the accident, Serbian Defense Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic added on Sunday. The plane was carrying about 11 tons of armaments, including illumination mortar mines, bound for Bangladesh, the minister said.
