2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 | General Motors opens the price book

General Motors (GM) unveiled the prices of the various versions of its highly anticipated 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 on Friday. Adopting a very different approach from its predecessor with its rear mid-engine and atmospheric mechanics, it is also less accessible than before, as almost everything these days.

So if you want to get your hands on an entry-level Z06 1LZ, you’ll have to shell out $128,198, which is $34,403 more than the Z06 variant of the C7 Corvette produced through 2019. The convertible version is close. $10,000 more to $137,198. That said, the bill remains significantly lower than a Porsche 911 Turbo, a potential rival detailed without options at $209,300.

This 2023 Corvette Z06 essentially seeks to establish General Motors’ mechanical expertise with a 5.5L LT6 flat-crank V8 capable of pedaling up to 8600 rpm. At 670hp, it’s the most powerful non-supercharged eight-cylinder ever bolted to a production car. It is also assembled by hand, to add a touch of exoticism and is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox only.

Order books will open on July 28.
