Train traffic between Nîmes and Avignon interrupted due to a fire in Graveson

A vegetation fire mobilizes a hundred firefighters between Graveson and Tarascon, near the SNCF tracks. The burnt smell is perceptible as far as the city center of Avignon where ashes even fall in the streets! As a safety measure, the SNCF has interrupted the circulation of several trains: Miramas-Arles; Miramas – Nimes and Avignon – Nimes. Firefighters are advising motorists to avoid the area.
