the return of the party to La Rochelle

Screams, songs, smiles, and little or no mask. This Wednesday, July 13, the 37th edition of the Francofolies de La Rochelle marked the great return to normal for the festival. After a 2021 edition limited to 5,000 spectators, the large Jean-Louis Foulquier stage has regained its initial capacity, i.e. 12,000 seats. In total, at least 150,000 festival-goers should be there by Sunday.

The evening began at 5:30 p.m. on the Grande Scène Jean-Louis Foulquier. The Grenoblois Calogero, the Israeli singer Asaf Avidan, the Pop artist Mika, or even the singer of the rock group Louise Attaque, Gaëtan Roussel, inaugurated this first day of concert brilliantly. France Bleu offers you a throwback to the evening.

From Thursday, July 14, it will be the turn of the Belgian Angèle to take the big stage. She will be preceded by the Lille Juliette Armanet and the singer Hoshi. Tickets for the concert have all been sold out.
