The golden ball in the studios of France Bleu Nord this Wednesday!

It’s an event! The Ballon d’Or will be this Wednesday morning in the studios of France Bleu Nord, 12 days before the official ceremony at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris where it will be awarded to the player elected best player of the year in the world. France Football, the weekly which organizes this trophy, will present it in our studios between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and its editor-in-chief Pascal Ferré will be our guest at 8.15 a.m. It is an event all the more exceptional since there was no golden ball in 2020, given the health crisis. And this year, the Golden Ball will only be presented in two cities outside of Paris, Lille and Grenoble. The golden ball had already come to France Bleu Nord in 2019. But beware, this year, we will not be able to welcome the public due to the context of the health crisis. It will be live on France Bleu Nord and on France 3 Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

Also in the running: Lionel Messi, who had had it in 2019 but also Cristiano Ronaldo.
