Manufacturers Honda, Hyundai and Toyota have launched three separate recall campaigns to correct various mechanical or safety issues affecting models.

As for Honda, 31,862 first-generation Ridgeline pickup trucks (model years 2006 to 2014) will have to be inspected in connection with a corrosion problem that could damage the gas tank. Anchor points of said tank, placed on the rear subframe, could come off due to rust and thus jettison it, which can cause a series of rather unfortunate consequences. It is specified that the sub-chassis can also be separated from the chassis as such. Depending on the level of corrosion, Honda agrees to correct the problem, or even to buy back vehicles that have not passed the inspection.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue are victims of a defective seat belt pretensioners.
At Hyundai, 27,316 Venue crossovers (model years 2020 to 2022) will have to make a stop at the dealership for a defective seat belt pretensioner. These could explode in the event of an accident, causing injury to the front passengers and the driver due to metal shrapnel. Hyundai will install protective caps on the recalled Venue.

On 2022 Toyota Tundras, nuts securing the rear axle shafts may loosen and fall off.
Finally, owners of 5,182 2022 Toyota Tundra pickup trucks fresh from the assembly plant will also have to make an appointment with their dealership. Nuts securing rear axle shafts may loosen and fall off. Symptoms of vibration and oil leaks may indicate this problem. This can obviously cause a loss of power or control. Technicians will tighten the nuts and assess the damage that may have been caused by this defect to replace the necessary parts.
