A decree prohibiting mosquitoes from flying over the town of Machecoul during the July 14 festivities

Mosquitoes, which sing in our ears and which bite above all, these little beasts are not welcome at the party in the town of Machecoul-Saint-Même, in Loire-Atlnatique, for the National Day. The mayor, Laurent Robin, issued an order prohibiting mosquitoes from flying over the town this Wednesday, July 13 the time of the festivities. Objective: that “the citizens can enjoy the fireworks in peace.” In particular, mosquitoes of the type “Aedes, Anopheles and Culex”.

This is obviously a fake decree, an approach to make people smile. In Machecoul, the National Day festivities take place this Wednesday, July 13, from 3:30 p.m., in the village of Saint-Même-le-Tenu.
