In Mayenne, sixty people evacuated due to a cellar fire in a building

Around 9 p.m. on Monday July 11, the firefighters were called to a cellar fire in the Hilard neighborhood in Laval. The eight-storey building, which is located at the corner of rue de la Gaucherie and rue Marcel Cerdan, houses the Henri Dunant medical center on the ground floor.

The residents of this HLM building were all evacuated as a precaution. This represents about sixty people.

The fire, which started in a local garbage can, was brought under control by the twenty firefighters mobilized with the help of a lance. No residents were injured or intoxicated. by the fumes.
