The “wild card”, an invitation to play in the 2022-2023 European Women’s League, has been accepted for Chambray Touraine Handball. The EHF, the European federation, formalized the list of 37 participating teams on Monday and the Conquerors are part of the adventure for the second consecutive year.
Unlike the other French representatives, Paris 92, Besançon and Nantes, qualified directly for the group stage for the first and the third round for the following, the CHTB will have to start in the second round, the very first level of the competition. It will be necessary to win a round trip confrontation next October to advance to the next round. The opponent will be known by drawing lots on July 19.
