This path is also equipped with metal footbridges that span the Auvézère river.
The Rouffiac leisure base, a plural place to swim in Périgord Vert, relax and have fun
Another place to cool off is the lake of Rouffiac which has a whole plethora of leisure activities. Partly propelled by the Department, people come here to swim, on the beaches equipped and supervised in summer. The children play on the playgrounds, they ask for paddle, pedalo, canoe rides and the more adventurous will absolutely want to try the wake-board! A water ski lift unique in Périgord is present in Rouffiac, the facilities will remind you of winter sports and the butt lift! We equip ourselves with a board attached to the feet, we put on a helmet and we grab the handles. When the cable is engaged, we spring up and let ourselves slide on the waves. We follow a course, the confirmed jump on springboards.
In Rouffiac, you can also do:
- tree climbing,
- hiking
- cycling around the lake.
