A 15-year-old girl did not survive her paddle outing.
Thursday, July 7, she took advantage of a nautical activity, the rest is currently unknown.
The young girl was taken out of the water in cardiorespiratory arrest… rescued by firefighters from the towns near the accident, Saint-Sulpice and Rabastens. Lavaur firefighters and a team of divers were also on site. A total of fifteen professionals were mobilized to save her.
Evacuated to hospital, she died overnight from Thursday to Friday.
The circumstances of the accident have not yet been established. The investigation was entrusted to the Rabastens brigade to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
