In the Donbass, and particularly around Lyman, Ukrainian forces are still trying to counter the Russian advance. Luc Lacroix, franceinfo’s special correspondent on the spot, met the populations who now blame kyiv for these bombings.
Russia continues its offensive on the Donbass. But the Ukrainian forces still manage to put up some resistance. Luc Lacroix, special envoy on the spot, was able to witness it. The vehicle driven by pro-Russian separatists in which he was riding was targeted. The population of Lyman, a town taken by the Russians a month ago, is now being bombarded by the Ukrainian army. Half of the city, over which the Russian and separatist flags fly, was damaged. Two-thirds of the population fled.
