Not surprisingly, all Volvo models offered in Canada will have a variable degree of hybridization or will have fully electric mechanics to move. This is combined with leather-free interior options on virtually all of its marketed creations.
Volvo currently has two all-electric models, the C40 and XC40 Recharge. The plug-in hybrid groups – offered in the S60, V60, XC60 S90, XC90 models – saw their battery grow last year to increase their autonomy.
This gradual transition should be completed by the end of the decade. Volvo aspires to become fully electric by 2030 alongside its already electric Polestar performance brand.
