Like every evening, 11 p.m. takes a tour of the news broadcast by European television channels. It’s Eurozapping on Wednesday July 6th.

It is the largest migrant smuggling network ever dismantled in Europe. The members of a group of traffickers, 39 in total, were arrested across Europe. They are suspected of having organized the Channel crossings to the United Kingdom. In Germany, more than 150 inflatable boats were discovered, along with life jackets. “We estimate they smuggled 10,000 migrants during the 12 to 18 months we monitored them”said a member of Britain’s Organized Crime Agency.

Germany is trying to find solutions to deal with the energy crisis. Near Dresden, the tenants of certain buildings have discovered that the hot water will now be cut off at night. If the opinions of the inhabitants on such a measure are divided, associations of tenants demand at least a reduction in rent to compensate for the deterioration of the service.

The atmosphere was electric, Wednesday July 6 in Pamplona. The city of Spain has returned to the famous Saint-Firmin celebrations, after two years of suspension due to the Covid pandemic. Thousands of people gathered, in order to attend in particular the famous release of bulls in the streets.
