Kim Kardashian flew to Paris to attend the Haute Couture Fashion Week shows. Impossible for her to miss the Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show expected this Wednesday, July 6, all the more so when she learned that Olivier Rousteing, one of her closest friends and artistic director of the house of Balmain, signed the new Haute Sewing. Surrounded by her mother Kris Jenner and her oldest daughter North, 9, Kim Kardashian created a riot when she arrived and there was plenty to do.
Pete Davidson’s companion landed in a very tight dark dress with light and fine stripes, the bust of which inevitably resembled the trademark – the conical breasts – of Jean-Paul Gaultier. North wore a much more sober outfit: in a white shirt, sleeveless vest, tie and skirt, the little girl looked like a schoolgirl, minus the wisdom.
Big black leather boots on her feet, North landed with the same sunglasses as her mother and above all, a huge nose piercing (fake, of course) connected by silver chains to the arms of her glasses, hidden under thick braids . A duet that would have almost made Kris Jenner go unnoticed. The momager the most famous in the world had opted for a white and blue sailor turtleneck that she wore under a loose, black suit with slightly pointed shoulder pads.
The Kardashian trio therefore came to salute the talent of the couturier and their friend Olivier Rousteing, whose task did not turn out to be easy: “You can’t have a Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show without having the man and the woman. He fought for gender, for genders. I couldn’t do a cliché parade” he told AFP. Given that the men opened the ball in tight suits and platform shoes as reported by BFM TV, the mission is indeed successful.
