These four alumni join Yvan Cournoyer and Réjean Houle who already held this role.
These six ambassadors will represent the team at games and in various events in the greater Montreal area.
They will notably be present during the National League Draft which will take place Thursday at the Bell Centre.
Carbonneau won the Stanley Cup in a Habs uniform in 1986 and 1993. He also won the Selke Trophy in 1988, 1989 and 1992, in addition to having led the team from 2006 to 2009. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame 2019.
Damphousse, captain of the CH from 1996 to 1999, and Brisebois were both members of the 1993 champion edition.
For his part, Nilan, the strong man of the Canadiens, lifted the Stanley Cup in 1986.
“We are proud to add legendary names Guy, Vincent, Patrice and Chris who worked for the organization as ambassadors after their playing careers,” said team owner and president Geoff Molson.
