Hervé Saulignac will not vote for the motion of censure of the Nupes

Hervé Saulignac, socialist deputy of the 1st constituency of Ardèche once again displays his independence vis-à-vis the Nupes: he will not vote for the motion of censure against the government, filed in the National Assembly by the four groups of the union of the left, including the PS. It will be tabled on Wednesday June 6, just before Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne’s general policy statement. “I don’t understand what there is to censor at this pointassures Hervé Saulignac. We censor a reform project that is known. At this point, in my opinion, there is no reason to table a motion of censure, if not to be in a form of posture.

However, the Ardèche deputy is well placed in the opposition, but a constructive opposition: “I was not elected by Ardéchois who told me that everything had to be blocked. They asked me to be responsible. And I will be. If this government is able to take a step towards what constitutes my personal aspirations, I will take my responsibilities.”

This is not the first time that Hervé Saulignac has asserted his independence. During the legislative campaign, La France insoumise criticized the socialist for not demanding the agreement of the union of the left, for example by not defending retirement at 60. “I am a socialist, not an insoumis”said the Ardéchois deputy.
