In France, it is still possible to do without the Covid-19 vaccine, provided you provide a negative test. If the epidemic resumes, the French government couldimitate Germany or Austria?
A health pass is currently required to access restaurants, cinemas, theaters, some large shopping centers or retirement homes and long-distance transport. It proves that one is vaccinated, that one has a negative test of less than 72 hours, or that one has recovered from Covid-19 for less than 6 months. For a vaccination pass, only a complete vaccination would be required.
This is what Austria, Berlin in Germany and the region of Saxony have just launched. This is also what the National Academy of Medicine advocates in France. the Pr. Philippe Amouyel, epidemiologist and professor of health public at Lille University Hospital (North), believes that “it is not by stigmatizing people that we are going to convince them to go for the vaccine”. On the government side, the possibility is not on the agenda for the moment.
