The wait is coming to an end. 1088 days and six waves of COVID-19 after the Blink-182 concert during the closing night of the 2019 Summer Festival, the Plains of Abraham will once again vibrate, starting Wednesday evening, to the rhythm of the successes of stars who form the line-up of the most important musical event in Canada. What are the unmissable concerts of this FEQ 2022? The evenings that could remain engraved in the memories? Here is our selection.

Luke Combs
Plains of Abraham, July 8
Over the years, the FEQ has tried, with varying degrees of success, to create an annual country event on the Plains. After ignoring the genre during its last two presentations in 2018 and 2019, programming director Louis Bellavance may have hit the jackpot by betting on the neo-country phenomenon. Not only are the Luke Combs concerts scheduled for this fall at the Bell Center and the Videotron Center sold out, but passes for the evening of July 8 are the most in demand on the web.
Rage Against The Machine
Plains of Abraham, July 16
A survivor of the FEQ’s 2020 lineup that was sacrificed at the altar of the pandemic, the iconic rock band of the 1990s, renowned as much for its cutting melodies as for its highly critical political activism of the American government, finally comes to the first time in Quebec. Since they aren’t exiting, if you miss them, the chances of you getting picked up are slim. We prefer to let you know.

Six years ago, she was parachuted in disaster on the Plains to do the first part of the concert of Sting and Peter Gabriel, following a withdrawal, during the opening night of the FEQ. This year, she returns through the front door, triumphant, conquering, with a successful debut album and four Juno awards. To mark its return, the Festival could not mark the occasion better than by offering the Plains to the Quebec sensation of the hour.

Luis Fonsi
Is there a sufficient pool of Latin music lovers, among the faithful of the FEQ, to bring one of its stars back every year? The FEQ rolls the dice with Luis Fonsi. Calculated risk: the guy is the author of Despacitothe song that shattered all listening records.
Alanis Morissette
Plains of Abraham, July 15
The nostalgic impulses of FEQ 2022 definitely focus on the 1990s. After Rage Against The Machine, the Ontario singer, extolled thanks to the album Jagged Little Pillis another choice take for the Festival.
Three Days Grace

In 2014, Canadian rockers drew huge crowds to Parc de la Francophonie. Even though the site benefits from a new configuration that allows it to receive more festival-goers, don’t bet against the chances of Three Days Grace to force the doors to close again.
Loud

Quebec rap has come to this: it is now entitled to its very own evening on the FEQ’s biggest stage. All that remains is to discover who will be the guests of Loud’s carte blanche.
Brown 5
Plains of Abraham, July 9
In 2015, we could admire the dance steps of Mick Jagger. This year, we will be able to hear Moves Like Jagger. With the popular Maroon 5, the FEQ can anticipate a very busy evening.
Jack Johnson
Plains of Abraham, July 7
A rare visit than that of the Hawaiian singer-surfer, whose depth of commitment to the environmental cause is matched only by the number of earworms in his repertoire.
Hubert Lenoir

Whether you love it or hate it, one thing is certain: a concert by the explosive and unpredictable Hubert Lenoir is bound to be memorable.
