Saanich police released a tweet saying the crime scene at the Bank of Montreal branch on Shelbourne Street has been cleared and reopened to traffic.

Six police officers were injured in last Tuesday’s shooting and the 22-year-old twin brothers believed to be behind the incident were killed.

Victoria Police spokesman Bowen Osoko said three department officers were injured in the shooting.

He said one of them is still in hospital.

Saanich Corps Sergeant Major Dean Duthie had said Wednesday that three of the officers were in hospital, including one in intensive care, while another will require further surgery.

On Saturday, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) identified 22-year-old twins, Mathew and Isaac Auchterlonie, as the two suspects who were killed in the shootout with police outside the bank.
