(Budapest) Quebecer Mia Vallée added a medal to her collection at the World Aquatic Championships in Budapest on Saturday.

The 21-year-old from Beaconsfield climbed on the podium for the second time — and the third time in the country in diving — after winning the silver medal in the women’s 3m springboard.
Vallée finished the competition with 329 points, enough to earn her a second medal at these World Aquatics after earning a bronze disc in the 1m springboard earlier this week.
She was fifth after the first three rounds on Saturday, but moved up to third on her fourth attempt, before moving up another spot on her final opportunity.

China’s Yiwen Chen triumphed with a score of 366.90, and her compatriot Yani Chang was third at 325.85.
Vallée started the World Aquatics with five medals (one gold, one silver and three bronze) in FINA Diving Grand Prix.
Montreal’s Nathan Zsombor-Murray and his partner Rylan Wiens of Pike Lake, Sask., secured Canada’s first diving medal at the World Aquatics by finishing third in the synchro tower.
Canada has now collected 14 medals (three gold, five silver and six bronze) after setting a national record with 11 medals in swimming last week.
The competition taking place in Hungary will end on Sunday.
