a film on the sea with “La Traversée”

The 12/13 of France 3 makes you discover “La Traversée”, which will undoubtedly be one of the films of the summer. This comedy, with Lucien Jean-Baptiste, puts you in a good mood. It tells the story of five difficult teenagers who have to cohabit on a boat for 15 days with a former policeman turned skipper. “Each character has a little problem (…) even the educators. On the other hand, we see as the film progresses that each character has a tenderness in him“, explains Moncef Farfar, one of the actors.

“Unlike a lot of movies we’ve seen, with a kid from the city who works and who becomes a great violinist or the king of rhetoric, that’s not real life. (…) We are little guys and little girls who have fractures“, analyzes Lucien Jean-Baptiste. Making a film about the mother “it was a hundred times worse than we had imagined“, recalls Varante Soudjan, the director.
