in the middle of the G7, the greatest leaders make fun of Vladimir Putin and his shirtless photos!

The seven great powers (Germany, United States, France, Canada, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom) met in Germany and Bavaria to discuss the world economic situation. But at Elmau Castle, Olaf Scholz, German Chancellor Joe Biden, President of the United States, Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, Charles Michel, President of the European Council, Mario Draghi, the Italian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister and Emmanuel Macron, the French President, around a table, joked about the virile image of Vladimir Putin.

It was British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who got the ball rolling. “Do we keep the jackets? Do we take them off?”, he asked. Justin Trudeau, then suggests waiting for the official photo to drop the jacket. “We have to show that we are stronger than Putin”, he added. “We are going to be entitled to the bare-chested riding demonstration”added the Canadian politician who referred to a famous photo shoot of the Russian leader on horseback shirtless in 2009.

“Horseback riding is the best”replied for his part, Ursula von der Leyen. “We have to show them our pecs”, insists Boris Johnson. It was without ties but in suits that they posed on the podium for the traditional family photo.

In a tweet, Joe Biden explained that the G7 had taken the decision to expand sanctions against Russia. “Together, the G7 will announce that we will ban Russian gold, a major export source, which will deprive Russia of billions of dollars”.
