Many French municipalities have set up video-verbalization. If the police are pleased with good results, the disputes are multiplying. Investigation.
For nearly 10 years, video surveillance cameras have been multiplying and have made it possible to observe traffic violations. In Isère, Échirolles has just adopted video-verbalization. Behind the 35 cameras installed throughout the city, the watchful eye of the municipal police. Behind the cameras, the police are supposed to take the context into account, but there are exceptions. Disputes related to video-verbalization thus constitute the bulk of the files of Me Adrien Weil, a lawyer specializing in traffic offenses law.
