A mixed Made In France show for Limousin exhibitors

At the Made In France show, we make more contacts than we sell. Julie Lefevbre is at the head of the Alchemist. She is a glass blower based in Uzerche in Corrèze.

This show gave it visibility: “We don’t necessarily sell, however, we build a network of contacts. A large company has been interested in my creations. It’s a good opportunity, now we’ll see if this project will be finalized.”

Drop in attendance

The show was also disappointed. It must be said that the price to have a stand was “quite high”. The show has grown in volume this year with more than 300 additional exhibitors. There were 815 exhibitors in all, including around twenty from Haute-Vienne and Corrèze. The problem is that many exhibitors noted a significant drop in attendance.

“They talked about a 40 to 50% drop”, notes Pascal Boucher editor of the board game “Red Rabbit Games” in Corrèze. “These are the figures given to me by the regulars. For my part, it was a first and I am left hungry. I had been told a lot about this show as THE show. Finally, it is certainly very big but the sales are not that important. On the other hand, I appreciated the exchanges with the exhibitors. “

A point of view shared by Antoine Courtiol from A! like concrete. This creator of decorative elements and concrete furniture in Aubazine enjoyed talking to major leaders defending Made In France: “It is very nice to be able to discuss with people who, like us, put the quality of the products first, despite the fact that their industry is much larger. I spoke a lot and it was very enriching.”
