A policeman committed suicide with his gun inside the Haguenau police station this Thursday morning, shortly after taking up his service. An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of his death. “No particular sign” did not allow to anticipate his gesture, affirm the Alternative Police CFDT Bas-Rhin union.

The peacekeeper, single and childless, 45 years old, had worked for several years in this Bas-Rhin police station. He was to be transferred in September to the PACA region, a transfer he was satisfied with, says the union.
