The fiftieth anniversary of the creation of the Quebec Nordiques, in the World Hockey Association, will be the subject of a big party, from September 30 to October 2. Nearly sixty former players of the “Cursed Circuit” are expected in the capital this fall, including Bobby Hull and several prominent faces in the history of the Fleurdelisés.

The National Capital Sports History Society, through its founders Marc Durand, Daniel Papillon and Vincent Couture, and Pierre-Yves Dumont, Fairmont Château Frontenac employee and hockey enthusiast, entrusted the mandate to the ex-defender, François Lacombe, to act as honorary president of the commemorative activities.
