While awaiting the entry into competition of Clermont Foot 63 and other elite clubs in mid-December on the occasion of the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France, Moulins-Yzeure Foot will therefore be the sole Auvergne representative in the 8th round.
Qualification was not easy to obtain and it took a goal from Racollet at the end of extra time to overcome CS Neuvillois, valiant resident of the Rhône region of Regional 2.
The roller coaster in Vénissieux?
This qualification torn off at the end of the suspense allows the MYF to continue the adventure and even to see further. At least on paper. The draw for the 7th and 8th round having been carried out simultaneously, Stéphane Dief’s men inherited an opponent once again within their reach.
They will travel to Vénissieux, a Regional 1 club, Cosne striker (2-2) this Saturday at the end of the penalty shoot-out (6 tab 5). The match will take place on November 27 or 28 in the Rhône.
