“My mother didn’t tell me that she had tried being an actress too. I had my coma, for a few hours, and when I woke up, I told my mother who was there: ‘Do you realize, I almost died without knowing if I was a good or bad actress. She didn’t say anything, but I saw there was something!”, she told the host of The Voice.

They had to cut my leg

This could have turned into a tragedy for the actress who had her vital prognosis engaged after the accident, and in particular a femur broken into eighteen pieces. “They had to cut my leg“, she confessed during an interview with TV 7 days.I only really recovered after four years. A year without walking, a lot of operations, it was very long” she then declared on France 2 in 2019. But the Niçoise managed to draw positives from it. “I was lucky not to be angry, not to feel like a victim, not to be afraid. This accident was the start of everything. It was thanks to this accident that I understood, and that I said that I wanted to be an actress“, she had shared with Current wife.

Michèle Laroque therefore used this experience to move forward and become a renowned actress. She also found love, initially with director and adapter Dominique Deschamps in the 90s, before finally divorcing when she had just given birth to her daughter Orianne. This one has notably played alongside her mother in the films How beautiful and Brilliant you are.
