Series of misdeeds in Gatineau: two teenagers are arrested

Two teenagers were arrested for a series of misdeeds committed two weeks ago on residences and vehicles in the Masson-Angers sector, in Gatineau.

The events with which they are charged occurred on the night of June 4.

A dozen complaints were registered with the Gatineau police department by residents whose residence and vehicles were targeted by mischief.

The police increased their presence in the area in the days that followed.

The investigation subsequently led to the arrest of two minors during the day on Friday.

The two suspects have been met by investigators and their parents have been notified of the situation.

They were later released on a promise to appear.

They will also have to respect various conditions, including a curfew.

Both youngsters could face misdemeanor charges in the Youth Division.

Other charges could be added, police said.
