Francisbreeder of cows in season 14 of Love is in the meadow (in 2019), and Nicole form a discreet couple. On the occasion of the announcement of the pregnancy of the young woman (who is four months pregnant), however, they agreed to answer some of our questions. After having evoked the happy event, the lovebirds made revelations about their couple.
During your review of Love is in the meadow, you did not plan to get married. Has this changed since?
Nicole : Always not.
Francis : She tried, but I’m not too hot. In my entourage, I have seen so many marriages that ended in disappointment. For me, we don’t need to be married to be good together. It does not change anything. Never say never, but for the moment it is not planned.
What else has happened in your life since filming?
Nicole : We had little problems in our relationship, so I returned to Switzerland. I work there, so I go back and forth in Vendée. I’m going to give birth in Vendée so I’m staying until the end of the pregnancy. Then we’ll see how it goes. We will say that financially, we are well with our two salaries. So if I can find a job in Vendée that can help…
Francis : Otherwise, we will work by Colissimo (laughs).
What were the marital issues you are talking about?
Nicole: We lived together before. But I needed this break to take the bull by the horns a bit.
Due to the climatic conditions, some farmers had problems on their farms. Is this your case François?
We will remember the year 2022. It started with avian flu and I am in an area that was affected, knowing that I have a poultry farm. But the good god is with me, I was the only one to have resisted in the corner. Otherwise we will say that we are a month ahead in terms of time, so it’s complicated. We don’t have time to take breaks between two crop implantations [de maïs, NDLR] therefore. I’ve never seen that, it’s crazy. But I’m not going to complain. In our region, this is the first time that we have been really affected. We have to adapt, we have no choice.
What are your projects ?
Francis : We are already going on vacation.
Nicole : We will join other participants from Love is in the meadow, it’s gonna be fun.
François: Then we will prepare for the arrival of the baby. There are still a lot of things to do.
