This Saturday, November 13, 2021 was broadcast the third and final part of the 20 years of the star Academy on TF1. During the show, Nikos Aliagas notably welcomed some candidates of season 3 on the set, season won by Élodie Frégé in 2003. Besides the winner, many of them have marked the spirits like Sofia Essaïdi, Patxi or rock. The latter, 23 years old at the time, had notably offered viewers a cult release.
The singer described as “a real raw talent“by the director Nathalie André had not succeeded in blossoming in the castle of Dammarie-lès-Lys nor to get used to community life. Thus, during a live bonus where he was nominated, Pierre did not wish to wait for the result of the votes and, his performance ended, had decided to quit the adventure. “I don’t wait for my freedom to be given back, I take it“, he had launched before leaving”like a prince“.
Since then, it is always with great freedom that Pierre has pursued his career in music, far from media exposure. After having formed the Premix group with two of his comrades from the Star Ac‘Romain et Édouard, and released the album Room 15-12 in 2004, Pierre went solo. And on a trip to Jamaica, he found his way. Indeed, the artist has since decided to do reggae. “Learn to live differently, live respecting yourself, respecting others. This is not at all what we are taught to do either at school or through the media. We are taught to hate each other while reggae teaches us to love each other“, Pierre explained to La Grosse Radio. in September 2018 as part of the promotion of his album Traveler.
In 2020, Pierre confided to work on a new studio album still produced by himself and his musicians, Les Chillaz. The project titled Positive is finally ready to see the light of day and a first excerpt from the text that has already been released on October 11.
