At the time of her presumed death, Delphine Jubillar had fallen madly in love with a man nicknamed by the press “Montauban’s lover“. After falling in love with each other on a dating app in the summer of 2020, the nurse from Albi and the one she considered her confidant had even planned to settle down and move in together in 2021. All two were however in a relationship at the time of their meeting: Delphine was married to Cédric Jubillar while her lover was also married. Suspected for a time of being linked to the disappearance of the mother of Louis and Elyah, the couple from Montauban finally quickly cleared of the cause in this court case.
Since then, Delphine’s former lover and his wife have not been reconciled… quite the contrary. His wife even left to live on the other side of the world in Reunion so as never to have to hear about this sordid affair again according to The new detective which explains : “Today, Camille and Jean (assumed names of the lover and his ex-wife) are separated for good. The 30-year-old stayed to live in Reunionrefused to answer our questions. As for Jean, he aspires to remain discreet“.
Questioned at length by the investigators, the wife of Delphine’s lover had to recount in detail the reaction of her husband after the disappearance of the nurse. “He seemed very worried. He wanted to make sure that I had not sent a murderous message to Delphine having pushed her from her home“, she had then confessed to the gendarmes.
Considered the number one suspect in this case by Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers, the latter imagined “the monstrous hatred she may have felt“by discovering that Delphine and her husband continued to send each other messages despite her pact with the nurse (she had indeed concluded with Delphine not to speak to her husband again before the end of the year holidays with the family).
“She learns that her husband is cheating on her and very respectfully asks Delphine Jubillar to stay in his place. An hour later, they were already rewriting each other“ thus declared the lawyer to Current wife in September 2021.”If there were to be a person, that evening, who could blame Delphine, it would be Camille.“, continued the lawyer, convinced of the innocence of the husband of the nurse. We know today that justice has however ruled out this hypothesis and that Camille has a solid alibi.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
