“A viper, a home wrecker” … announced as a couple with Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard responds scathingly

After several years of love, Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet broke up. However, the two lovebirds have overcome many hard knocks. That said, journalist Florian Anselme indulged in some indiscretions about their past relationshipduring his passage through TPMP People last March.

That said, long before this separation, Marion Cotillard was pushed to hook up with an American star. “They tried to introduce me to actors. It wasn’t to shoot a movie, but to see if I could get attention. If I got into a relationship with a well-known American actor, I immediately benefited from more interest. I ended up going to one of them. But I told the comedian about my boyfriend. Let’s be clear, I was landing. I was exotic. I was fresh flesh” she told in the columns of the World.

But that personality could have been Brad Pitt. Indeed, the two actors shared the poster of the film allies in 2016, when he broke up with Angelina Jolie. From there, noises from the corridor lent him an adventure with Marion Cotillard. Pregnant with her second child with Guillaume Canet at the time, she had been obliged to specify on Instagram: “I’m not used to commenting on the heap of nonsense dumped about me but the situation taking such a turn, I have to express myself. (…) I met a few years ago the man of my life, he is my love, my best friend and the only man I need. I wish Angelina and Brad peace at this tumultuous time.”

Again questioned on this subject, Marion Cotillard made the scathing point to our colleagues from TV 7 Days : “Guillaume was confronted with the paparazzi, with people who called him a cuckold. In two minutes, your wife becomes a slut, a viper, a homewrecker… All over the world! And that he couldn’t stand. I tried to tell him it didn’t matter, it was so absurd, but I understand his reaction. From the moment it affects the people you love, you can’t let it happen.

Fortunately, this had not impacted their relationship at the time.
