A woman with multiple fractures was found in her bedroom. After spending a week in hospital, she died of her injuries. It was the son of this lady who then had brought legal action against Orpea: “I left her on Saturday evening, she had nothing (…) and at 7:30 a.m. on Monday morning, her leg was broken, I am asking Orpéa for an explanation, I did not have one”says Eric Der Markarianthe victim’s son.

The group argues that this is not an error on its part. leave, but that the fractures were due to an epileptic fit, as stated by Me Alexandre Malbasahis lawyer : “There is nothing today that says death comes from this cause, you don’t die of broken bones.” Lhas justice has ruled and agrees with the victim’s family, invoking that “Ihe trauma (…) is necessarily attributable to the staff of Orpéa”.
