A van recovered from the waters of the Allan between Montbéliard and Exincourt this Thursday. The operation mobilized two river companies of gendarmerie from Saint-Jean-de-Losne and Vogelgrun (two divers, a sonarist and a surface supervisor), as well as two Montbéliard police investigators and three officials from the technical and scientific police.
In June 2020, a 60-year-old audincourtois had disappeared in Héricourt. He had an appointment at a garage, but disappeared before he got there. The man who lived in a household in Audincourt was a non-sedentary market trader. A search warrant had been launched by his relatives and by the police.
A few days later, on July 2, 2020, his body had been seen floating on the surface of the Allan, along the highway. The Montbéliard police who opened an investigation on letters rogatory now have an important piece: the vehicle in which the man disappeared, without explanation.
For the moment, the mystery remains on this murderous exit from the road. Justice remains discreet on the possible leads at its disposal.
