An agreement was confirmed at the Longueuil courthouse this morning between the City and lawyer Me Anne-France Goldwater.
The attorney, on behalf of Sauvetage Animal Rescue, filed a lawsuit to prevent the deer cull that is scheduled for the fall.
A debate and a decision of the court will have to be carried out before being able to resume the slaughter operation according to this new agreement.
Sauvetage Animal Rescue wants to move the deer to different locations in Quebec.
