Was this Jubilee weekend some sort of test between the royal family and Prince Harry? For many experts, it would seem so: indeed, the queen, her father, Prince Charles but especially Prince William seem to have given her one last chance, hoping that no secret details of the ceremonies will come out in the American press.
Indeed, as he had repeated many times, the eldest son of Prince Charles no longer really trusts his brother, scalded by the numerous revelations and the various leaks which have constantly flooded the newspapers across the Atlantic. . It would be for this reason that he would have refused to see him in private while they were both in London, fearing the inevitable gossip. Tensions have therefore increased between them and could really explode at the slightest word too much in the press.
And this time, there is no longer any question of being protected by the queen: even if she has always had a lot of affection for Prince Harry, Elizabeth II no longer really trusts either and would have even refused that her grandson bring a photographer when she finally met little Lilibet (the couple’s daughter from Sussex, who was celebrating her 1st birthday) because she did not want this private moment to be broadcast in the United States afterwards. It must be said that between the interview with Oprah Winfrey, his various podcasts and the announced publication of his memoirs, Prince Harry has perhaps been a little too talkative lately…
