This Wednesday, June 15, Johnny Hallyday would have celebrated his 79th birthday. But, sadly, the late rocker passed away in 2017 after a long battle with cancer. But those close to him continue to keep his memory and his music alive. Nobody forgets it. Especially not his family.
On Instagram, Joy Hallyday posted a slide of archive photos on which we can see her through the ages in the company of Johnny. Her late dad adopted her in 2008 from Vietnam. “Happy birthday my loving dad. I love you for life. It is thanks to you and mom that I am who I am today. I miss your humor, your jokes, your generosity, your voice, your songs that you used to sing to me, and the love you had for Mom, Jade and I. Every day I listen to your songs and I think of the most cherished times we spent together in your office watching movies, making jokes and laughing all 4 with mom and Jade. I hope you’re doing well up there and having a good time. We 4 for life forever without anyone else. My dad, I wish you the happiest of birthdays. I love you for life we miss you – Joy ton ange“, writes the now 13-year-old girl. The rocker had also adopted Jade in 2004, from the same country.
Joy is not the only one to celebrate Johnny’s birthday since his widow, Laeticia, also obviously spoke on Instagram.
