Two people were shot and injured on the night of Tuesday June 14 to Wednesday June 15 after a chase with the police in Nice in the Moulins district (Alpes-Maritimes), according to a police source revealed by franceinfo. They are two migrants conveyed by car. One of them is in serious condition. The IGPN is seized, we learned from a judicial source.
According to information from franceinfo, it all started around two in the morning, during a joint Franco-Italian police operation at the border in the town of Sospel (Alpes-Maritimes) on the Italian border. A car carrying migrants initially refused to obey police control. A 40 kilometer chase then began as far as Nice, in the Moulins district.
The car stopped before restarting and drove into the border police (PAF). The latter used their weapons and fired four times. Two people, migrants, in the vehicle were injured. The driver and another passenger managed to escape.
