At 50, Charlotte Gainsbourg is a fulfilled actress, a fulfilled mother and also… a fulfilled wife! This makes more than thirty years that she shares the life of the actor Yvan Attal with whom she had three children: Ben (born in 1997), Alice (born in 2002) and Jo (born in 2011). The eldest, also an actor, celebrated his 25th anniversary this Sunday, June 12, 2022. A quarter of a century already!
For the occasion, his tender mother Charlotte Gainsbourg wanted to wish her son, also grandson of Jane Birkin and the late Serge Gainsbourg, a sweet and bright birthday by posting photos of Ben as a child in his Instagram story (see the slideshow). It is only from the fourth photo that she wrote this beautiful message: “Happy birthday my beautiful boy. Turning 25 today”. Through these photos, Internet users were able to admire Ben’s pretty face and see this beautiful resemblance to his parents. A young man who became even hotter as he grew up!
A mother very close to her three children
Although she had a difficult childhood due in particular to the very strong media coverage of her parents, Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, Charlotte Gainsbourg claims to be a close mother to her three children. “Children, you also have to learn to do without them, seeing them leave is difficult. Their first years, I felt so useful, there was something so simple. Growing up, I was able to have more hard to find my place”, declared Charlotte Gainsbourg during an interview with Marie Claire in April 2021.
