Saint-Leger-Vauban is a town located in the heart of the forest in the Regional Natural Park of Morvan. Until 1867 the village was called Saint-Léger-de-Foucheret. It was by imperial decree that he changed his name to pay homage to the most famous of his children: Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban.
